Informed by Information
Does your institution reap dividends from all the information that's available to it? Do you think about the data you possess as having strategic value? Or do you think about data and information only as numbers in a spreadsheet or names in a table? This session will highlight how robust data/information management (and sharing!) can provide a positive Return on Information for your school or district. We'll talk in very practical terms about managing information as a valuable strategic asset. We'll talk about some attributes of good data management practices and related IT practices. We'll discuss ideas for how to derive insights from available data and information that can inform understanding, behavior and decisions in classrooms, board rooms, and the corner offices.

Toolbox of Change: Excellence in Technology Integration
Technology and all aspects of education are approaching one another at light speed. As technological advances continue to accelerate the world forward, schools will need to prepare students for fulfilling professions which do not yet exist. We are fast-moving into a world of innovation and creativity - education needs to reflect that shift.

Our session “Toolbox of Change” helps schools plan and prepare for Education 3.0 using interactive strategies to assess our audience and their learning needs. We will discuss the huge advances in educational tech adoption at a national level as well as what that looks like in our own school where we have seen an explosion in the use of instructional technology and student-generated content. Taos Academy team leaders will share on their Three Year Plan to support blended learning, build buy-in and shared vision among staff, and use of data to anticipate emerging technologies.
