The Education 3.0 session helps online and blended learning practitioners scaffold their students from novice e-learner to empowered partner in content creation. The result is powerful personalized learning both by and for learners in the online or blended learning classroom. Team leaders from Taos Academy discuss the intersection of IT and instruction and how the two areas support one another. Our session blends theory and practice. Icebreakers get participants moving and helps facilitators assess the learning needs of the group; an overview of Conrad & Donaldson’s 4 Phases of Engagement serves as our framework. At each level, we share activities and templates to support a personalized learning environment through student choice and learner-generated content.
